Reinventing the Media Landscape: Alan Goldsher & RE-INVENTION TV Pave the Way for Impactful Content

Using the power of storytelling, RE-INVENTION TV aims to transform screen time into an avenue for positivity and growth.

The digital landscape can often feel like an ocean of unfulfilling content, one company and its leader are on a mission to clean up the waters. RE-INVENTION TV, under the guidance of Chairman and CEO Alan Goldsher, is striving to fill the media space with uplifting, inspiring, and worthwhile content.

Goldsher, with a rich 30-year history in print publishing, advertising sales management, and television, is uniquely equipped to lead this content revolution. His lifelong fascination with television and media led him to a pioneering role at Cox Media, where he managed spot ad sales for a local system of 35,000 homes.

Goldsher’s passion for television only grew stronger as he ventured into creating and producing his own content. He was the force behind the successful launch of “Design For Living” on Cablevision’s Metro TV in 2003-2004 and continued to demonstrate his media prowess with the creation of “New York Residential TV” and “Metro Residential TV”, which aired weekly on WPIX 11.

RE-INVENTION TV was born out of Goldsher’s vision to bridge the gap between print publishers and the modern “screen” age. This unique endeavor has allowed for the exploration of new ideas and the creation of enriching content, aiming to offset the less positive impact of the broader social media landscape.

In 2011, Goldsher created the Emmy Award-winning series “Best Places To Live,” first hosted by the late, great Jason Sheftell of The NY Daily News, and currently hosted by Cristina Cuomo. Following this success, RE-INVENTION TV launched “Faces of Philanthropy” on WNET 13, the PBS flagship, in 2015. The series profiles numerous organizations assisting those less fortunate in the greater NYC area, further emphasizing Goldsher’s dedication to making a difference through media.

Goldsher’s aim for RE-INVENTION TV to have an even greater impact is clear. By securing a corporate sponsor, the goal is to continue creating and delivering meaningful content that benefits the general public, businesses, chambers of commerce, and corporations alike.

RE-INVENTION TV is dedicated to providing small businesses with free opportunities to have their stories told. This initiative, launched as a response to the challenges of the pandemic, has resulted in over 1200 free video profiles helping small businesses in NY, NJ, CT, MA, PA, and the L.A. area. The company’s efforts have not gone unnoticed; they were recently interviewed on ABC News and NY1.

This summer, RE-INVENTION TV plans to launch new shows that spotlight small business leaders and local philanthropic figures, demonstrating once again that Goldsher and his team are committed to transforming the quality of the content we consume.

In a world where screen time is almost unavoidable, RE-INVENTION TV and Alan Goldsher are leading the way in ensuring that time is filled with content that educates, inspires, and ultimately, reinvents our perception of media.
