Kelsey Charles: Hawaii Real Estate Expert Making a Mark in the Real Estate Space

Kelsey Charles is a residential real estate professional and homeowner serving the entire island of Oahu. A millennial entrepreneur, Kelsey leads The Kelsey Charles Team representing home buyers, sellers, and investors as they venture into the real estate space. A veteran’s wife, Kelsey provided fantastic real estate insights to many military families and helped them find new homes.

Kelsey started her real estate journey in 2019 and created a personal lead generation network. During her first year in the business, the real estate mogul reaped $12M in sales, a figure she doubled in her second year as a realtor. In 2021 alone, Kelsey, a mother of two daughters, made a whopping $23+ million in real estate sales.

Amazingly, Kelsey sold over 90 homes and earned over $65M in volume to date. Her team also sold over 100 properties with over $70M in sales volume. A trendsetter, Kelsey is disrupting the real estate space to become a force to reckon with in the industry.

A resilient, focused thought leader, Kelsey has grown to become a real estate broker and LLC realtor and is a recognized top-selling agent in Hawaii and among the top 10 in the nation at the brokerage. Her relentless efforts to make a mark as a professional realtor earned her the coveted Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a prestigious professional designation awarded to the most experienced realtors in the nation within the first three years of the industry.

“As an agent in my first year, I made Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties’ Rookie of the Year for 2019. This was an accomplishment because Coldwell Banker is the largest brokerage on the island of Oahu,” Kelsey says.

An enthusiastic professional who advocates for the highest standards of ethics and agency in the industry, Kelsey treats her clients’ investments in Hawaii seriously and strives to guide them seamlessly through every step of their transaction.

“Kelsey’s proficiency and use of technology-based marketing are unparalleled in the industry. Taught by the best in the business, you can be confident in her ability to close the deal and advocate for your interests,” shares one of her team members.

However, Kelsey says that running a demanding and competitive business as a realtor and mother to 2 children with ADHD was initially quite challenging. Also, adapting to changes in the evolving real estate market cycle was perplexing. “But I overcame these challenges by switching my prospecting from buyers to sellers. Therefore, I was able to recession-proof my business,” Kelsey adds.

In response to how she managed to become a trendsetter and a millionaire as a millennial, Kelsey said, “Don’t feel intimidated to go after high-end listings and buyers. They are people too. And this is a business that is 90% people and only 10% houses”.

Kelsey is undoubtedly poised for greater heights in the business and aspires to start focusing on building a real estate system instead of owning a job. She also plans to start appealing to the market as a real estate influencer by going on TV, radio, and podcasts and creating engaging content on YouTube.
