Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were STMicroelectronics NV (EPA:), which rose 5.39% or 2.01 points to trade at 39.22 at the close. Meanwhile, Accor SA (EPA:) added 2.93% or 1.20 points to end at 42.15 and Renault SA (EPA:) was up 2.43% or 1.16 points to 48.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:), which fell 7.73% or 4.76 points to trade at 56.84 at the close. Kering SA (EPA:) declined 6.87% or 24.05 points to end at 326.15 and Orange SA (EPA:) was down 3.58% or 0.40 points to 10.65.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were X Fab Silicon Foundries EV (EPA:) which rose 7.00% to 7.03, STMicroelectronics NV (EPA:) which was up 5.39% to settle at 39.22 and Vusiongroup SA (EPA:) which gained 5.37% to close at 135.30.
The worst performers were Argan (EPA:) which was down 8.01% to 72.40 in late trade, Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:) which lost 7.73% to settle at 56.84 and Kering SA (EPA:) which was down 6.87% to 326.15 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 279 to 214 and 112 ended unchanged.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 105.73.
