Free fries at McDonald’s — through Dec. 31
CNBC and many other news outlets are reporting that McDonald’s is giving away free orders of its world-famous french fries every Friday through the rest of the year.
To claim your freebie, you have to order another item at the Golden Arches. You also will have to download the McDonald’s app.
Free Doritos Locos Taco at Taco Bell — available now
Those who love both baseball and tacos are in luck! As part of its annual “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco,” promotion, Taco Bell promised to offer a free Doritos Locos Taco to customers if a base was stolen during Major League Baseball’s championship, the World Series.
Well, the fleet-footed feat occurred — Arizona Diamondbacks’ player Ketel Marte stole a base in the first 2023 World Series game — and now you can reap the tasty rewards.
To get the taco, check your rewards account in the Taco Bell mobile app. However, if you are not a member of the rewards program, you have already struck out: Only folks who registered for rewards by Oct. 27 are eligible.
Free BOGO sandwiches — Nov. 3
National Sandwich Day is Nov. 3, so look to some of your favorite restaurants for deals — and even freebies — on that day.
For example, Franchising.com reports that folks who order a Potbelly Original or Big-sized sandwich through the restaurant’s app or online on Nov. 3 will earn a free Original-sized sandwich if they enter the promo code BOGO.

Domino’s is giving free pizzas to folks drowning in student loans.
A new batch of gratis “emergency pizzas” — at least 4,200 — is given away each day, and you have to apply to get one. Each daily giveaway is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The offer ends Nov. 9.
